JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Cannabis Extraction Technician to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis science, excellent attention to detail, and experience (or eagerness to learn) working with extraction equipment. Your primary role will be grinding cannabis biomass and operating extraction systems to produce consistent, high-quality extracts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare cannabis biomass by grinding and weighing material.
Operate and monitor butane extraction, wiped film distillation, and terpene recovery equipment.
Ensure all equipment is cleaned, calibrated, and maintained.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet safety and quality standards.
Maintain logs of production batches, including weights, times, and yields.
Identify and report equipment or process issues promptly.
Comply with state regulations and company safety policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in cannabis extraction or laboratory work is preferred.
Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Understanding of safety standards in chemical handling (preferred).
Must be 21+ and eligible to work in the cannabis industry per state laws.
