Classic Charter Bus Company and Private Shuttle Service is looking for a long term employee to work as a Nightly Bus Washer.
Hours: 24-50 hours per week. Minimum hours will be 20 hours for part timer, full timer will receive 40+ hours a week on average. Part timer will work 2-3 days per week. Full timer will work 4-6 days per week.
Night shift - Weekends are the busiest times for transportation and bus travel, working on Friday and Saturday nights are regular and off during the day. Off days are usually early to mid week, Mon-Wednesday. Hours range from start time of 6PM - 11PM, leave time between 10PM-and 6AM depending on how many vehicles need to be cleaned. Driver's License or reliable source of transportation is a must.
Job: Cleans interior of vehicle, using broom, cloth, mop, vacuum cleaner, and whisk broom. Cleans windows with water,
cleansing compounds, and cloth or chamois. Replenishes sanitary supplies in vehicle compartments. Removes dust,
grease, and oil from exterior surfaces of vehicles, using steam-cleaning equipment, or by spraying or washing
vehicles, using spraying equipment, brush or sponge. May polish exterior of vehicle.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple
correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to employees of the organization.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving
mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. The
employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold;
extreme heat and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
