Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. The role involves receiving and auditing incoming materials, conducting daily cycle counts of inventory, processing jobs via computer systems, and more. This position is essential in ensuring that materials are properly handled, processed, and documented according to department procedures.Responsibilities
Receive and audit incoming materials.
Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory.
Process jobs via computer system(s).
Process materials to return to warehouse, supplier/vendor etc.
Package, wrap, and crate materials approved for shipping.
Expedite/communicate line down parts to the appropriate work centers.
File documentation in accordance with department procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Shipping experience
Forklift operation
Material handling in high volume environments
Computer skills
ERP system knowledge
Data entry
Oracle knowledge (a plus)
Ability to lift 35+ pounds
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Material handling experience (6+ months preferred)
Forklift Certification (preferred)
High School Diploma
Steel toe boots required on the first day
