Description We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our clients team in Walnut Creek, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and streamlining High Vol. accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, account reconciliation, and data entry. This role is instrumental in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our operations. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all customer credit data Promptly resolve customer inquiries and issues related to accounts payable Regularly monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Conduct regular check runs to ensure all payable accounts are up-to-date Apply coding to invoices accurately to ensure proper classification and recording Perform account reconciliation tasks to maintain accuracy in financial records Utilize various accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for data entry and other functions Ensure consistent and accurate invoice processing Use Microsoft Excel for maintaining records and generating reports.Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management Experience in Account Reconciliation Ability to perform Check Runs efficiently Skilled in Coding Invoices Proficient in Data Entry tasks Experience in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial tasks Knowledge of Oracle for financial management Experience in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks Knowledge of SAP for business process management High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to continue learning and improving accounting skills High level of integrity and trustworthiness in handling company finances Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
