HR Generalist

Description We are in search of a skilled HR Generalist to join our team in Walnut Creek, California. As an HR Generalist, your role will encompass a variety of tasks related to Human Resource Management. You will be instrumental in fostering a positive company culture, managing employee recruitment, benefits, and leave, as well as enforcing company policies and practices.Responsibilities: Administer and execute human resource programs including compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Oversee the recruitment process, including interviewing and facilitating the permanent of experienced job applicants for open positions; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices regularly to ensure compliance. Conduct new permanent orientation, and explanation of benefits. Manage the generation of internal documents such as job descriptions, offer letters, work schedule/ employment status changes, bonus letters, and warning letters. Document, track, and review compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, detail oriented licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications. Perform exit interviews, providing recommendations for improvement to the company. Oversee timecard and mileage reimbursement for payroll process. Maintain physical and electronic employee files. Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is a must. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly desirable. Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is required. Knowledge of Ceridian software is a plus. Proficiency in using Dayforce is necessary. Strong understanding of Benefit Functions is required. Excellent Communication skills are essential. Must have a strong understanding of Compliance procedures. Experience in Employee Relations is crucial. Knowledge of FMLA regulations is necessary.
