A California-based entertainment organization is currently seeking a new Security Engineer for a great Remote opportunity with their Product Security team. In this role, the Security Engineer (Remote) will be responsible for helping t develop, build and maintain the security of the company's product infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
The Security Engineer (Remote) will be responsible for:

• Implementation and tuning of various AWS security services.
• Taking an automation first approach to various tasks and processes.
• Identifying, educating, and remediating vulnerabilities in code using SAST/DAST
• Designing, building, and deploying automation to scale infrastructure vulnerability discovery efforts
• Performing security reviews(code/architecture) and threat modeling
• Helping to educate other teams such as DevOps and Engineering on security best practices
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years industry experience, including 5 + years of experience automating Cloud Security functions
• 5 + years Scripting experience
• Previous experience working in an Application Security role
• Experience with the Vulnerability Management
• In-depth experience with AWS architecture
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• Experience with writing & maintaining Lambda functions and/or Python scripting
