Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a CNC Operator positions in Yorba Linda, CA. This is a 1st shift - possible temp-to-hire opportunity. As a CNC Machinist – Operator you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) Machine. Program, set up, and operate a CNC machine; maintaining quality and safety standards at all times
Ability to read and understand blueprints, engineering plans, materials and specifications
Loads feed mechanism; Assist with other duties as needed
Plans and forecasts stock needs; order as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma required (college, technical or trade school preferred)
4-6 years as a machine operator
2+ years of experience in CNC Programming is preferred
Must be able to program according to Engineering Drawings and understand critical dimensions as they pertain to repeatability, equipment capabilities, tooling, scaled-up production, and manufacturability given existing equipment capabilities.
Must have an ability to work from rough drawings, schematic layouts, technical manuals, and general descriptions of what is desired
Must be able to setup CNC equipment to run the programmed part and assess feasibility effectively and continuously.
Pay is $24.50/HR. Will work the 1st shift.
