The Automotive Mechanic will work on a variety of vehicles, diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining automotive systems.
Duties
Perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including wiring and battery issues.
Conduct auto body repair as needed, ensuring vehicles are restored to their original condition.
Utilize schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems efficiently.
Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure proper functionality.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to improve shop efficiency and service quality.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
Proficiency in welding techniques for vehicle body repairs.
Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting methods.
Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective diagnostics.
Experience with ADAS technology is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with clients.
Capability to maintain detailed records of repairs and services performed.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all tasks.
Position requires a minimum of 5 years of auto mechanic experience.
