We are recruiting for one full-time concrete laborer. This individual will
assist in all phases of concrete projects including site prep, setting
forms, tying rebar, pouring, finishing, and site clean-up. Projects
you may work on include sidewalks, curb and gutter, walls, and
flatwork, including large commercial slabs.Ideally candidates will have:
Previous and recent concrete experience (as shown on your resume or
application)
The ability to read plans
Knowledge of concrete construction, placement and safety regulations
An understanding of concrete placement, curing and finishing techniques
A reliable method of getting to and from work, preferably have a
driver's license
Your own tools of the trade
The ability to lift 50 lbs. regularlyThe work schedule is Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays required,
40-50 hours per week, with overtime. This position requires the ability to
climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, squat, and exert heavy
physical effort. Work is typically outside, in a variety of weather
conditions, and may require work in confined spaces.Compensation varies based on related experience. The starting wage for those
without experience is $16.50 per hour. The pay range goes up to $23 per
hour for those with related and documented concrete experience (as shown on
their resume or application) as well as all the qualifications listed
