The Snowmaking Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of snowmaking activities including managing the snowmaking team and safely operating snowmaking equipment on a regular basis. This position reports to the Snowmaking Manager.  The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus. Job Posting Deadline: Applications for this position will be accepted until August 15th, 2026.Essential Job Functions / Key Job Responsibilities Safely manage snowmaking crew including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems Maintain all snowmaking equipment and machinery including compressors, pumps, control systems, and anything else associated with the snowmaking operation Advise and recommend purchasing decisions for equipment, capital investment, design and operation Help lead and direct the design, planning and installation of snowmaking expansion and repair projects Implement long term strategy for energy efficiency, reducing water consumption and minimizing snowmaking builds within the parameters of seasonal temperatures, operation dates and event calendar Oversee and direct all summer maintenance projects Prepare and manage to annual budget Ensure timely and accurate pay for all employees Maintain positive working relationship with all departments Other duties as assigned
