Processes purchase orders and communicates with end-users and suppliers to confirm and track orders.Responsibilities Collaborates with internal customers to ensure purchases meet quality, cost, timeliness and functionality requirements. Ensures the expediting of goods and timely delivery. Supports the resolution of material discrepancies of goods ordered. Resolves outstanding orders, provides back-order information and offers alternative sources when possible. Researches usage history to determine ordering requirements.
