Clinical duties involve primarily the provision of outpatient and inpatient clinical service support as well as both procedural and clinical activities.

The individual will be trained by the Interventional Radiology physicians and APPs in image guided minor procedures.

The job will require clinical duties in both the inpatient and outpatient setting including pre-operative H&P, informed consent, patient preparation for procedures, inpatient rounding, family and patient education, admission and discharge from the hospital, and coordination of longitudinal care of Interventional Radiology patients.

Evenings and weekends are not required for this position.

This position will involve cross-coverage of Highlands Ranch Hospital and Ridgeline Medical Center.

We are open to applicants for the Instructor or Senior Instructor academic ranks.We are a high-volume section and we operate out of Highlands Ranch Hospital and Ridgeline Medical Center. We anticipate adding an additional APP to address an increase in volume due to growth. The APP may also be required to provide cross coverage to Anschutz Medical Center in the future. APPs perform multiple Interventional Radiology Procedures independently including venous access, PleurX placement, fluid drainage procedures, biopsies, joint injections, malignant pain pump management, fluoroscopic tube exchanges.
