businesses in our Key Bank communities. Personal Bankers engage clients in
deeper conversations to uncover needs and provide guidance and solutions to
assist in client's financial wellness both in person and through proactive
calling efforts. As part of the branch team, the Personal Banker will work
toward attracting new clients to Key and work with existing clients to develop
and expand relationships based on their unique financial goals, leading to
client confidence in their finances. The Personal Banker is a client first,
sales-driven, self-motivated, and competitive individual. Strong and

Listen for clues for financial wellness opportunities during client
conversations and provide effective and customized financial wellness
recommendations to clients
Consistently attains individual activity, behavior, and outcome expectations.
Opening personal and business accounts (consumer checking, small
business, various deposit products, home equity, unsecured lending,
certificates of deposit, etc.).
Developing strong partnerships with branch teammates and line of business
partners - focusing on client acquisition and deepening the relationship of
current clients; effectively managing internal and external centers of
influence.
Ensuring compliance with operational, risk, security and audit procedures
and policies including appropriate documentation of client interactions.
Support of branch operations including assisting with client transactions on
the Teller line as needed.
Participate in and occasionally facilitate morning huddles and end of day
debriefs

Education Qualifications
High School Diploma , GED or equivalent business experience (required) or
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience Qualifications
1-3 years Experience in developing current and new customer relationships,
achieving sales goals, and building referral sources. Experience with sales
is more important than financial services experience. KeyBank provides the
tools and training, but we need relationship builders with a curious nature
who are great at sparking conversations. (required)
Understanding of consumer credit - including loan to value, debt to income
and credit reports. (required)
Foundational knowledge of sales and service techniques with clients,
including tele-consulting, outside calling, prospecting, and networking.
(required)
Comfortable interacting with small business clients, overcoming objection,
and asking fact-finding questions with the goal of being helpful. (preferred)
Demonstrated experience with influencing business partners and leveraging
centers of influence, as this role will require significant influence of
partners such as Key Investment Services, Mortgage and Business Banking
sales professionals. (required)
Working knowledge of PCs (MS Windows and Office Products including Word,
Excel, etc.). (required)
Working knowledge of digital technology (mobile, apps, web-ba ed
browsing) and ability to educate clients on digital platforms and
capabilities within Key (required)

Mortgage Loan Officer/Loan Officer (MLO/LO) ClassificationEmployees in this position are required to comply with all rules and
regulations of The Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of
2008 (The SAFE Act). Employees hired or transferring into this position
will need to meet the qualification requirements, in Key's sole
discretion, under Reg. Z, prior to acting as a loan originator in a
consumer credit transaction secured by a dwelling. Qualification requirements
include but are not limited to an assessment of overall financial
responsibility, character, and general fitness through review of a
criminal background check, credit report, and information about any
administrative, civil, or criminal findings by any government jurisdiction.Tactical Skills
Is knowledgeable about the client's accounts and business with the bank and
uses sound judgment with customers and transactions
Demonstrated ability to attain sales and referral goals through preset
appointments and quality conversations leading to recommendations that support
clients' financial wellness goals, leveraging system generated lead
lists, walk ins, and professional contacts
Strong work ethic and high level of integrity
