Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Aurora, Colorado. The selected candidate will be joining a team focused on managing subcontracts and independent contractor work in the post-award grants sector.Responsibilities: Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable. Ensure accurate and timely handling of bank reconciliations. Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis. Prepare and post journal entries as required. Manage the month-end close process effectively. Get accustomed to and proficiently use accounting software like NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Work collaboratively with the Grants Manager to coordinate and manage subcontract work.
