If you answered yes to these questions, then we should talk! ASSA ABLOY is looking to a Warehouse Team Lead to our regional manufacturing facility (or Service Center) based in Aurora, Colorado. You will play an integral role in helping to ensure efficient warehouse operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and help to motivate a small team to meet and exceed performance goals. In this hands-on role, you will will be responsible for all shipping/receiving operations, and warehouse inventory, transactions, as well as cycle and physical inventory counts. Ensure all inventory locations are accurate. Perform cycle counts daily, weekly, monthly, or as needed. Work with other departments on resolving any inventory issues. Majority of time for this position will be in the warehouse, standing, walking, using a scissor lift, and forklift. You would also:

Help to supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Help to provide direction and training to team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory management, order fulfilment, and loading processes.

Coordinate orders to meet loading and delivery schedules.

Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely stock replenishments through periodic cycle counts.

Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance.

Collaborate with 3rd Party Logistics and Customer Service on shipments.

Communicate with Production regarding inventory matters.

Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and keep work areas organized.

Maximize warehouse efficiency and layout with Ops Supervisor.

Assist with the enforcement of safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.

Perform cycle counts and inventory tasks accurately and timely.

Assist in setting and achieving strategic goals and objectives for the department ensuring efficiency and consistency, such as monitoring operational costs and maintain inventory accuracy (99.5% benchmark).

Perform special assignments and projects as assigned.

Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.

Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct

The Skills and Experience you need :

High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Additional certifications (e.g., forklift certification) are a plus.

3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requires complete knowledge of incoming materials, product identification, and storage areas

Demonstrated track record of using forklift, pallet jack, scissor lift, computer and printer, as well as RF scanner and scale

Previous experience on an ERP system and with Oracle J.D. Edwards CMS/WMS would be a plus

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.

Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.

Previous experience with forklift operations a plus

Physically capable of standing and walking throughout shifts.

Demonstrates strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills.

Thrives in a team-oriented environment focused on achieving collective goals.
