Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports: None
Summary/Objective: Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing financial data,
ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures, and other
accounting tasks as needed. The staff accountant assists with audits, budget preparation, tax returns,
preparing financial statements, and other tasks as needed.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-time, 40 hour weeks

Work Environment: Office environment
Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
Essential Functions:
Process and reconcile company credit cards in Expensify
Process check requests and expense reports
Work with AP Clerk to accurately review, code, and process vendor bills
Review and reconcile bill discrepancies
Create Month End and bi-weekly payroll Journal Entries
Review, investigate, and reconcile any invoicing discrepancies
File annual 1099s
Other ad hoc analyses, reports and projects as needed
Requirements:
0-2 years experience with accounts payable, journal entries, or general accounting Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
On-site required in Longmont, CO

Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
MBA
NetSuite experience
