Come join us and be an integral part of our team of 10 technical/engineering rock stars in a small aerospace company here in Boulder.

If you are a one-in-50 office manager, that loves creating order from chaos and off-loading the team by taking on the things you love that others aren't so good at. Taking on business and office responsibilities such as accounting, company insurance, organizing legendary company parties, payroll, making the office a place we all love spending time in, hiring, HR benefits, tell (or enjoy) the occasional joke, finding things to offload so that the team can focus on what they are great at, and an enjoyer of cool technical stuff you will flourish in this role.

Being small, we’ll support you growing into greater responsibilities and compensation as you demonstrate other areas you are passionate and skilled in.

Compensation is $25+ per hour and can increase as responsibilities increase. The position is an in-office position, with the ability to occasionally work remotely if needed .

What you must be:

-Love what you do

-3+ years of experience in an business manager/office manager position

-Enjoy taking responsibility for all the aspects and mechanics and support of a small, growing company

-Passionate about off-loading the CEO to allow them to do what they are best at.

-Experienced with accounting systems, keeping QuickBooks current and accurate,

-Overseeing accounting and bookkeeping firms. Responsible for taxes and financial reporting

-Efficient: make great things happen with little time

-Very organized and enjoy organizing others

-Love the details…books that balance, I's that are dotted, T's that are crossed.

-Experience with 401K's, payroll

-Thrive when doing many things at once.

-Likely interested in getting involved in operations, sales, social media.

-Former manager(s) we can talk to that will sing your praises.

Responsibilities include

-Ensuring the company continues to be one of the best places in Boulder to work

-Executive support: scheduling, organizing, offloading

-Organizing and maintaining company records and docs in Google Docs

-Responsible via company accountant and bookkeeper for accounting, monthly financials

-Hiring processes

-Managing projects and teams (whether they have reporting responsibility to you or not)

-Company insurance

-Keeping track and overseeing budgets

-First contact point for the company. Developer of relationships with customers, suppliers and others we work with

-Purchasing/invoicing

-Certification of processes to government requirements

-Overseeing HR 401K, payroll, benefits
