Residential Construction Site Superintendent
Boulder County custom home builder is looking for full time Site Super to oversee current residential construction projects. We are looking for someone that possesses strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills. Experience in all phases of detailed custom residential construction.
Hands on trade experience is a plus.
The following are key responsibilities:
- Hands on experience in trades
- Oversee the construction project from start to finish.
- Lead the project from the construction side in project planning, budgeting, scheduling and identification of resources needed.
- Perform construct-ability review and identify any potential VE items.
- Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities.
- Monitor the job progress and ensure that construction activities are moving according to schedule.
- Communicates with the owner, architects, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors as needed to support the project team.
- Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, high level of quality control, and safety standards
- Ensure project documents are completed, processed as necessary and filed appropriately
- Knowledge/experience with Municipal project permitting process
- Experience with acquiring bids/proposals
- Quality control of onsite activities, in all phases of residential construction
- Self-directed, and problem solver
- Computer experience = Outlook email, Word, Excel, and general file management is a must have skill! Email communications, and daily reports required.
