Part-Time Nanny/Home Manager
Hours: Mon-Fri 3:30 – 7pm (17-20 Hrs/Week)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay: $22-$30/hour depending on applicability of ‘preferred experience’

Potential for nanny support while travelling, full-time (40hrs/wk, not to exceed 10hrs/day) while

Gas Reimbursement
Will reimburse for mileage up to Govt published per diem
Requirements:
Professional Resume
Background Check required before employment
Excellent references; 3 professional, 2 personal
CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred
Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a safe and stimulating environment
Great with kids (8 & 5 yrs old); Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to promote learning
and development
Follow parents’ instructions regarding routines, discipline, and other specific requirements
Must have a car and a good driving record (will be evaluated before hiring)
Must pick up at the school bell, no later than 3:40 pm
Will take them to after-school activities and/or help with homework before playtime
Cook dinner for the family before leaving at 7 pm
Light cleanup required (playrooms, living room, kitchen, light laundry, etc…)
No TV, screen, or phone to entertain kids
Locations other than school, scheduled activities, or home need to be pre-approved
Communicate regularly to provide updates on children’s progress
Preferred Qualifications
Early childhood education background (certificate, in college for early childhood ed, teaching
experience, etc)
Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities
Fluency in a second language
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle emergencies calmly
Willingness for occasional weekend and travel nanny work
Fits well into our family
Ability to create healthy and desirable snacks and meals (we would purchase food to
accommodate or provide an allowance to shop for meal options)
