Mechanical engineer with at least ten years of experience needed for various consulting projects mostly involving enclosing, cooling and/or heating various circuit boards and instruments.
This is an hourly sub-contracting position. It is typically part-time depending on projects. You will work from home and at clients’ sites in the Boulder / Denver area. You must be physically located in the Front Range of Colorado.
You must provide at least some of your tools including your own Windows-based computer and a SolidWorks license. You will work with a small team of consulting engineers.

Required:
Experience with designing mechanical enclosures that include circuit boards
Experience with calculating air flow and varying amounts of heating and cooling
Knowledge and experience working with various metal fabrication and machine shops
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics
SolidWorks license
Strongly Desirable:
