The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in leading and managing complex IT organizations, as well as a deep understanding of the latest IT and Cybersecurity innovations and technologies.In this role, you'll be at the helm of our IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Team, driving exceptional customer service and fostering strong partnerships across the organization. Operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, your leadership will be critical in ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.We're looking for this person to be onsite in the Boulder Headquarters a few days a week in a Hybrid work scenario. This role is NOT a Remote position. Within 1 month, you will:

Lead and manage a team of IT & Cybersecurity professionals

Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of tech and security systems and infrastructure

Facilitate employee development by coaching, motivating, and leading by example to obtain new skill sets, knowledge and troubleshooting techniques. Be up-to-date on the latest IT trends, and technologies. Implement innovative solutions to support the organizations growth and collaboration

Provide support for IT-related issues to end-users when needed, resolving basic technical problems and escalating complex issues when necessary.

Willingness to be “hands on”, when required; demonstrated ability to coach and train teams to bring them to world class.

Provide thought leadership and guidance to the organization's senior management team on IT matters. Collaborate with department heads to understand and address specific technology requirements and develop business solutions.

Within 6 months, you will:

Establish a culture of continuous improvement, driving for more efficient and higher quality IT operations.

Manage the Corporate IT budget and ensure that it is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives

Develop and enforce IT policies, ensuring a secure and productive IT environment while maintaining compliance with company-wide standards.

Manage the deployment of new technologies, policies, processes, and services through effective Project Management.

Work hand-in-hand with infosec stakeholders in Engineering, Legal, Finance, Operations, Business Intelligence, and member-facing teams to create a Security & Privacy culture of compliance

Ensure that the organization's technology systems are secure and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations

Conduct security reviews of designs in collaboration with the information security teams.

Identify and mitigate gaps in our technology applications

Within 12 months, you will:

Develop, implement and evolve the organization's IT strategy and vision

Establish and maintain robust security protocols to safeguard company data and infrastructure, including endpoint protection measures.

Lead and create accountability for the planning and execution of technology projects and cybersecurity upgrades to support the company's growth and evolving needs.

Design and improve security practices for existing and new technology capabilities to mitigate and/or eliminate security threats and vulnerabilities, including legacy systems as well as newer solutions such as cloud architectures

Oversee periodic security audits, penetration tests, and other exercises to validate controls.

Proactively update the cyber security strategy and applicable policies to leverage new technology and threat information

Align on, create, implement and manage the roadmap and delivery of security initiatives

What YOU bring to Outside: (Preferred Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field

10+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

Strong technical skills in a variety of IT areas, including networking, security, and cloud computing

Experience implementing and maintaining SOC2, SOX and ITGC compliant systems

Proven ability to create and execute against an information security and privacy vision by forging partnerships and leading by example

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong leadership and management skills

Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions

Passion for innovative technology and a commitment to continuous learning
