We seek to hire a faculty member who is committed to teacher education focused on the preparation of justice-oriented, anti-racist teachers who will work with culturally and linguistically diverse students, including bilingual learners and students with disability designations. Preference will be given to candidates who have taught courses in one or more of the following areas: teaching students with disabilities, family and community engagement, social studies methods, and student teaching seminar. The candidate should also have experience making meaningful connections to the field, such as designing field-connected learning experiences in coursework and supporting pre-service teachers in K-6 classrooms. PhD in teacher education, education of students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, or similar field of study.

Experience teaching in U.S-based, K-6 schools.

Experience teaching undergraduate or graduate students in the area of elementary education.
