The Senior Program Manager of Parent Relations and Donor Stewardship for the Parent Giving and Boulder Advancement Programs office is responsible for the planning, logistics, and coordination of special projects, programs, and events. This position serves as the primary contact for the Chancellor's Parent Leadership Society (CPLS) Board, Parent Leadership Society, and the Parent Fund. They will act as the liaison for the Senior Director for Annual Giving for the Boulder campus. This role is tasked with the retention of Parent Fund and Boulder Advancement Program donors, and stewardship through a comprehensive communication and outreach plan. The incumbent will demonstrate strong research and analytical skills, and possesses extensive knowledge of gift agreements, implementation and compliance.Under the guidance of the Managing Senior Director of Development and Unit Lead, the Senior Program Manager develops and manages program budgets, and represents the unit on task forces and committees. Plan and implement all CPLS Board related activities for the fall and spring semesters.

Work collaboratively with Donor Relations to engage senior leadership, i.e., Advancement, Chancellors Office, Division of Student Affairs, etc. to secure their presence at the CPLS Board meeting and prepare relevant briefings.

Create the Parent Giving presentation for the biannual board meetings in concurrence with the PGBAP Unit Lead and Program Manager for Parent Events and Engagement.

Identify campus speakers to present at the CPLS Board meetings; provide context (for the speakers) around the meeting and purpose of engaging highly philanthropic parents.

Facilitate CPLS onboarding and offboarding of board members and related board communications, i.e., compiling and distributing meeting minutes, securing stewardship gifts, etc.

In conjunction with the Program Manager for Parent Events and Engagement, plan and complete all the related activities for CPLS Board members and qualified Parent Leadership Society members to attend commencement graduation suites at Folsom Field.

Programmatic Oversight/Task Execution/Tactical Work

Coordinate and implement any and all aspects of the 12-24-month communication and outreach calendar for the Parent Fund and Parent Leadership Society.

Collaborate with appropriate campus and system level partners as needed.

Serve as the Parent Giving liaison for the CU Boulder Annual Giving unit to help coordinate Parent Fund solicitations during the fall and spring semesters to secure and retain parent donors and create a major gift pipeline.

Manage and implement the Parent Giving and Boulder Advancement Programs (PGBAP) stewardship program, address complicated donor issues and resolve sophisticated matters in conjunction with campus partners and the University of Colorado Foundation.

Develop and manage the stewardship strategy for the PGBAP office in coordination with the Managing Senior Director of Development and Donor Relations.

Implement efficient and thorough stewardship practices to connect donors with the impact of their giving.

Work with appropriate partners, i.e., Office of Financial Aid and Marketing and Communication to complete major donor stewardship touches, i.e., creation of impact reports.

Coordinate with campus partners and the PGBAP team to steward scholarship donors.

Manage large datasets for specialized research analysis.

Serve as the lead writer of messaging and specialized communication for a broad range of constituents, including quarterly Parent Leadership Society Newsletters.

Periodically review Parent Leadership Society courtesies, benchmark standard processes and update offerings as needed.

Other Duties as Assigned

Performs administrative tasks, i.e., composing correspondence, maintaining lists, internal and external documents, and processes.

Acts as liaison for vendors, donors, volunteers, etc., in coordinating assigned programs and projects.

Follows established guidelines for recording budgeted expenses; reviews "budget-to-actual" status monthly and advises Unit Lead of any significant concerns; reviews program effectiveness and makes recommendations for modifications and improvements.

Use databases to create lists, track program participants, and manage donor recognition.

What You Should Know

This is a limited-term, lasting 12 months.

This position has the ability to work a hybrid schedule with some days on campus and some days remote.

This position will occasionally be required to work evenings/weekends.

This position may require local, regional, and out-of-state travel to engage with university constituents.

What We Can OfferThe salary range is $65,300 - $72,800 annually. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience or combination of education and experience may substitute.

1+ years of professional, job-related experience.
