This role will support and develop programs that are relevant to and embrace employees of all backgrounds in offering a variety of supportive health and wellness services. Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee wellness program management, preferably in a health care setting. Proven experience and ability in designing and implementing employee wellness programs and working with people to improve their health and wellbeing required.Knowledge, Skill, & Ability Offer and disseminate available health and wellness program options; describe associated benefits. Evaluate programs and services according to identified metrics, goals, outcomes and organizational priorities. Direct programs in response to outcome data. Incorporate behavioral sciences theories, including human development and growth; psychology of illness, death and dying; family systems; group dynamics; and awareness of holistic approaches to wellness. Excellent organization and project management skills, attention to detail, and a solution-focused approach to problem-solving. Manage budgets, capital and operating. Develop and conduct training programs for department staff, volunteers and students to support professional standards.Responsibilities Develop and implement workplace wellness programs that align with the company's values and goals. Assess the wellness needs of the organization, collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to promote employee engagement and well-being. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure maximum impact. Collect and analyze data, communicating regularly with company leadership to provide updates and reports on wellness program effectiveness and outcomes. Establish, maintain, and manage relationships with external wellness partners, vendors, and consultants to enhance the company's wellness offerings. Assist in the creation and management of a budget for workplace wellness initiatives. May also prepare annual reports and program proposals for Wellness Initiatives, identify opportunities for future funding, and the development of grant proposals for submission Stay updated on current trends and research in workplace wellness and incorporate best practices into the company's programs. Organize and lead wellness events, workshops, and training sessions for employees.
