CAFE FRITZ is hiring!
New family run cafe opening in Hygiene, CO. Looking for hospitality driven individuals with a willingness to learn and grow with the cafe. We are looking from team orientated reliable workers who can handle high volume with a smile! Operating hours are Thursday to Sunday- so weekends are a must. Pay will start at minimum wage $11.40/hr + tips. We expect to be very busy - with hourly looking to be $20+
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and teas.
- Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or POS system
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and a positive customer experience
Skills:
- Cash handling: Ability to accurately handle cash transactions and provide correct change
- Basic math: Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations for cash handling and inventory management
- POS (Point of Sale) system: Experience using a computerized system to process customer orders and payments
- Food preparation: Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to prepare food items according to recipes or instructions
- Cash register: Familiarity with operating a cash register for processing payments
- Coffee: Understanding of different coffee brewing methods, knowledge of coffee beans, flavors, and roasts
- Customer service: Strong interpersonal skills to provide friendly and efficient service to customers
- Food industry: Familiarity with food service industry standards and regulations
- Food handling: Knowledge of proper food handling techniques to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination
