Restaurant Japango is seeking a responsible full-time floor manager with a proven ability to lead. We are looking for a highly motivated and confident individual who has a passion for food, strong work ethic and a selfless desire to serve others. Applicants should be able to reinforce a positive work environment, while effectively monitoring cost and labor controls and ensuring a smooth and memorable experience for each guest. Candidate will be working with a large management team, so please be ready to contribute your expertise as we all rely on each other. Advancement opportunities will be available for the right candidate.
A few other things we are looking for:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of management experience in a high volume restaurant
- Exemplary communication skills
- An ability to maintain a very professional level of service in a fast paced environment
- Great sense of urgency and capacity to work well under pressure while maintaining a calm demeanor
- A team centric attitude with a strong sense of respect for all staff members
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and sake
- Impeccable organization and eye for detail
- Full availability and an ability to work late. We will not consider those with other obligations (school, second job, etc.)
