Job Description:
Manage Packhouse: Inventory, cleaning, supplies, organization, food safety
Rinse, bunch, pack, prepare, and quality control vegetables
Oversee CSA pack line
Clean, mill, and pack Heritage grains
Prepare and pack market trucks
Lead crews and manage work stations in all of the above areas
Record-keeping, planning, and preparing
Bilingual preferred
Flexible teamwork: Work and communicate well with our team to keep the whole farm organism running smoothly, including flexibility to jump in where/when needed, such as Farm Stand or Harvest
Schedule & Compensation:
March/April - November/December, Mon-Fri. $20-$22/hr DOE + staff veggies. Experience required (farm, warehouse, grocery, restaurant, etc). 40-55 hours/week depending on season and farm needs, with OT pay over 40. That’s right - you get time-and-a-half pay for all hours over 40!
Benefits: Bonus pay twice during the season for all full-time, full-season staff in their second year of employment at Aspen Moon! You’ll earn 1 hour bonus pay for every 40 hours worked.
