We are hiring for full time and some part time seasonal tour guides

We are seeking energetic, responsible and positive individuals to guide both on-road and off-road tours in Rocky Mountain National Park and Roosevelt National Forest. Having excellent driving history is a must for insurance purposes. This is seasonal position from May till about October with opportunities to stay on full time year round for those that have mechanical or shop skills. Pay is on a per tour basis plus tips. A true outdoor person is ideal, someone that loves nature, people and machines, Knowing 4 wheel drives is very helpful. We can train the information, we are looking for the personality. The ideal candidate will like adventure, enjoy working in a team atmosphere, have basic knowledge of mechanics and have a knack for talking with people and explaining the natural and historical environment. Having a great sense of humor and a positive attitude/ cool under pressure at all times is essential. Please understand that work ethic, being on time, and doing exactly what you say you are going to do is essential. This is high adventure and we have a number of guides that work year after year because it really is an amazing way to earn a living and have fun with owners that care about the guides, the staff and the customers we serve.

MUST HAVE a clean driving record and be a minimum of 25 years of age

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Entertaining the general public as you drive them on-road and off-road with 'fun facts'

- Driving our vehicles responsibly and respectably with an awareness for any possible issues.

- Staying within allowed areas and keeping safety in mind at all times

- Communicating and working with our office staff in organizing and preparation.

- Learning the information to speak with accuracy and representing the company with professionalism

- Clean up and safety checks before and after the tours and re prep the truck for the following tour. This includes fueling and washing the vehicle, cleaning out trash, etc.

- Trail Maintenance, working fill in at the office and being flexible to help out in random areas.

-An eccentric character or just a bit of a character that is always ready to have fun and enhance the experience for our guests.
