Share your home and make a positive difference! Seeking a compassionate person or couple, to share their home as a paid caregiver for adults with developmental disabilities. Must have a private bedroom for the person and be willing to provide hands-on support and ongoing daily care.
Support needed with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, appropriate dress, proper nutrition, grocery shopping, medication management, household skills and access to recreational activities.
Must be willing to provide support with all appointments (dental, medical, therapy etc.) including scheduling and transporting to and from appointments and properly managing the necessary paperwork from the appointments.

The ideal candidate possesses the following characteristics/skills:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must have a GED or diploma.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Must have dependable and reliable transportation with the ability to safely transport.
Must pass multiple background checks.
Must be a team player with good interpersonal and written communication skills and have excellent attention to detail.
Excellent social skills to interact with a variety of personalities, including family members and a team of professionals.
Reliable, dependable, and motivated with a positive attitude.
Experience with behavioral support and onset dementia preferred.
