Mow Crew Job Summary
We are looking for a trustworthy and motivated Mow Crew Leader to join our Mow Crew for the upcoming spring/summer season. We provide comprehensive landscaping services to businesses and residences, including lawn care, garden maintenance and landscape design/construction. As a part of our Mow Crew, you will operate self-propelled walk-behind mowers, 36” sit down Scag, leaf blowers, weed eaters, and other common tools to create and maintain carefully manicured outdoor spaces. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right person.
Mow Crew Duties and Responsibilities
Use mowers, weed eaters, and backpack blowers to maintain lawn trim grass and blow off hard surfaces.
Drive a truck with trailer to various about 15 client locations per day and ensure proper storage of equipment during transport
Enter arrival and departure times on route sheets for each property on your phone
Mow Crew Worker Requirements and Qualifications
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Must be able to lift upwards of 50 pounds and walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to work in variable weather conditions
Must be reliable and self-motivated
Must be legally able to work in the US
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to communicate with customers and co-workers in English
Additionally, giving back to the community is a key part of what we do everyday. For some of our customers, we volunteer our services to those who need it the most. Because of what we do, we enable older folks to be independent and stay in their homes, as yard work can be difficult for them. We’ve had everyone from graduate students to experienced landscapers work for us over the years, many coming back season over season. Why? Because of who we are and what we do for others.
