This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). Hourly wage of $18-22 per hour (based on level of experience) with benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) match.
Responsibilities:
We are a small but growing company, and that means you may be required to wear multiple hats throughout your day. As a Furniture Installer at BC Interiors, you will be a key part of our operations team. Your primary responsibilities will be:
Deliver and install commercial and educational furniture at customer facilities
Utilize install drawings and floorplans to navigate customer facilities, stage product, and install furniture
Fill-out project checklists, review work performed with customer, and receive customer sign-offs upon completion of all projects
Complete service calls and warranty/punch trips
Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers on-site
Providing daily status-updates to customers and internal teams on installation progress
Clean-up, remove, and recycle dunnage at customer facilities and at our warehouse
Maintain box trucks, vans, and other company vehicles
Maintain area around building to provide safe entrances and exits to showroom and warehouse
Qualifications:
Must be a quick learner, self-motivated, and proactive
Excellent communications skills, proficient in English, and professional demeanor
An obsessive level of attention to detail and customer service
Understanding and staging spaces based on a floorplan
Follow product assembly instructions
Use of an electric drill and other tools required for furniture installation
You will need to have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record and background check
Ability to lift over 50lbs
Power tools and all equipment will be provided by BC Interiors
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay range of $18 – $22 per hour dependent on experience
