Customers love our t-shirt designs! Willing to train! This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning textile screen printing, or already has some experience.
Full-time preferred, but we will consider part-time. Monday - Friday
Responsibilities:
-Closely follow instructions given by Production Manager, which may include:
Set up (register screens) and print (load and / or unload garments) on Hopkins manual and / or M&R automatic press
Take down / remove ink from screens from finished jobs
Remove shirts from dryer conveyor belt & fold / count them
Coat, expose, clean, washout and reclaim screens
Use quality control to ensure printing matches company standards
Mix inks by eye to match PMS colors
Pick quantities of blank shirts for print runs
Qualifications:
Troubleshooting ability to solve on-press issues
Ability to see differences in color
Ability to follow detailed instructions about ink color, print location, screen order, and which shirts to print
Willingness to work with chemicals to clean, coat and reclaim screens
Close attention to detail a must
Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to full 8 hour shift)
Ability to lift and or move boxes up to 50 lbs.
Good communication skills and optimism required.
Both English & Spanish fluency is a plus!
