About Us:
Ted Bradley Studio creates stunning, on-of-a-kind porcelain light sculptures, and we're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Ceramics Associate to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a passionate team, hone your craft, and contribute to the creation of our porcelain light sculptures.
Key Responsibilities:
Independently produce ceramic rings for our light sculptures.
Utilize our fully equipped studio and tools.
Follow detailed instructions to maintain the quality and precision of each piece.
Required Skills:
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Precision and strong attention to detail.
Basic sculpting skills and proficiency with handwork.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a frequent basis.
Preferred (but not required):
Experience with electric Skutt kilns (loading, unloading, and firing).
Proficiency in glaze spraying techniques.
Familiarity with using a pug mill.
Part-time, 3-4 days/week - up to 29 hours per week.
Hourly pay: $23-$37 (performance-based).
Training provided on-site.
