Full time production position operating our Model K&H Long Wrapper to cut/wrap our caramel candy. Our delicious hemp-infused candies are artisan-crafted and made in small batches on the premises. We are looking for a positive, motivated individual who wants to be involved with our fast-growing food production department. This position requires heavy machine preparation, operation, cleaning and troubleshooting, standing for extended periods of time and handling candy with repetitive hand and arm movements. Technical aptitude required for learning to operate and maintain machinery, while paying close attention to details that ensure continuous, efficient production. Specific requirements include:
Ability to maintain a written log for production, checklist, etc.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job including: standing/walking for extended periods of time
Lifting and carrying materials up to 50 lbs.
Accurately sort and package products based on specifications.
Self-motivated and detail oriented as this position involves repetitive tasks that require speed and accuracy.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Regularly cleaning the facility after daily production is complete and prepare for the next day.
Follow ALL food and safety equipment procedures, adhering to all company policies and procedures, GMP
and safety standards.
Understand and demonstrate the company's core values and operating principles.
Perform other duties as assigned to support production.
