Shift & Pay: 6 PM - 6 AM, rotating 2-2-3 schedule
$21.50-$27/hour
Job Description:
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker, where your role involves a variety of tasks throughout the day and each day could be different. You will be tasked with moving large industrial raw materials, including chemicals or compounds used in pharmaceuticals, using a forklift, pulling orders, and maintaining inventory control. You may be required to work outside as necessary, loading and offloading tankers of solvent. As part of your responsibilities, you will perform physical and administrative tasks involved in the receiving, shipping, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, and equipment. You will also be responsible for the accurate electronic/paper data entry for the movement, reconciliation, receipt, shipping, and labeling of materials.
Hard Skills:
At least 2 years of warehouse experience
Forklift operation (REQUIRED)
Loading and unloading
Inventory control
Pulling orders
SAP or ERP experience
Familiarity with solvents
Soft Skills:
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Willingness to work outside when necessary
Responsible for safety and environmental aspects of their activities
Work Environment:
This role combines forklift operation and being on your feet for your entire shift. You will be working either as a part of a team or independently. You will be personally responsible for the safety and environmental aspects of your activities in the workplace. The work environment involves working in both inside warehouse conditions (ambient, cold, and frozen) and outdoors in all weather conditions for receiving and shipping goods and materials. You must be able to work around hazardous solvents and chemicals and wear all required PPE. Occasionally, you will be exposed to outside weather conditions and the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
