Off-Bearer
This job consists of the removal of cut stone from the backside of a stone cutting machine
And determining what to do with the material either stacking it on the appropriate pallet or to throw it in the waste bin. Must remain in standing position when the cutter is operator is cutting
Stone, keep the table free of chips, broken pieces of stone and keep the teeth free of dust and dirt between the teeth and assist with greasing and maintenance of the machine. Must assist the operator with the loading of the rollers with stone handling of empty pallets and general clean up of the surrounding machine area. Must be able to lift 100 lbs safely, have steel toed shoes, gloves and be able to work in all kinds of weather year around. Be able to speak and understand English have the ability to measure accurately. This is a full-time seasonal position that has the potential to become a full-time yearly position.
