Bilingual Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Green Building Services has provided high quality green janitorial services for offices and businesses in Boulder and surrounding areas since 1999. We are a small-to-midsize local business with approximately 70 techs working in about 250 customer accounts. Our office is in Boulder.

We are looking for a self-starter who has extensive Full-Charge Bookkeeping & Microsoft Excel experience. We can offer a good degree of autonomy and flexibility during the work week. The successful candidate will work approximately 30 hours/week M-F. Hours can be somewhat flexible: 5-6 hours/per day between 8am-5pm. Good communication skills (writing/phone) are essential as there is significant contact with customers and service providers.

Bookkeeping Experience

QuickBooks Pro – desktop version

Payroll Biweekly, Tax Deposits, 941, UITR, W2 and 1099’s

AP/AR

Bank Deposits/Reconciliations

Insurance Audits

Year-end reconciliation for CPA

Company retirement program

Office Admin & Data Entry Experience

Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Support owner and various account managers

Microsoft 365: Word, Excel, Outlook

Manage CRM (Customer Resource Management system) – “Janitorial Manager”

Track, document, invoice all jobs, labor & supplies

Manage day-to-day office needs

Order supplies and track inventory

Answer phones/emails

Customer and service provider relations

Great communication skills – written, in-person, email, and phone

Maintain personnel files

Human Resources Experience

Assist with hiring (screening/interviewing) and on-boarding

Benefits administration

Workers’ comp

The candidate who meets the above requirements AND HAS PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH A SERVICE BUSINESS will be very competitive.

Schedule

Five Days per Week: Monday thru Friday

Approximately 5 - 6 hours per day between 8am and 5pm

Compensation – GBS offers competitive compensation that includes 2 weeks of vacation and 6 paid holidays. We offer a healthcare stipend (to managers who show proof of health insurance) and other benefits.

Will consider W-2 or 1099.
