Home Instead is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and solutions-oriented Evening/Weekend On-Call Manager to support our caregivers and clients outside of regular business hours. This remote role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates calmly under pressure, and genuinely cares about supporting seniors and the caregivers who serve them.
Schedule
Evenings and weekends (on-call rotation)
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for caregivers and clients during evenings and weekends
Handle call-offs, scheduling changes, and urgent coverage needs
Provide guidance and support to caregivers in real-time
Respond to client concerns with empathy, professionalism, and urgency
Accurately document calls, actions taken, and follow-ups
Escalate issues appropriately and communicate with office leadership as needed
Ensure continuity of care and uphold Home Instead’s high standards of service
Qualifications
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in urgent situations
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
Prior experience in home care, healthcare, staffing, scheduling, or HR is strongly preferred
Comfort with phone-based work and basic computer systems
A genuine passion for supporting seniors and caregivers
