Small law firm handling complex and sophisticated estate planning, probate and small business matters seeks an administration assistant to help with organizing files, general office assistance and word processing. Position will last through the summer with possibility of continuing in the fall.
Duties Include:
Scanning and filing attorney/client related documents in confidential matters
Standard office tasks such as answering phones, copying, office errands to the bank and post office, ordering office supplies, and general organization
Witnessing the signing of legal documents
Simple computing and word processing
Creating Client Notebooks as well as CDs with confidential estate planning information to distribute to clients
Closing and shredding files
Client invoicing
Qualifications:
An ideal candidate can learn new techniques quickly and easily; is able to work independently, multi-task efficiently and be able to follow directions well; is comfortable working with the computer and various programs such as Outlook and Word Perfect. Experience with filing, working in a legal office, and Word Perfect skills are desired, but not necessary. Must be reliable, an effective communicator, well-organized, comfortable under pressure and have strong academic credentials.

We are located just off of the Pearl Street Mall, a few blocks from CU campus and just steps away from an RTD/Skip stop.
