Key Cutter / Office Manager at store front location - Will train in areas that are unfamiliar. Would like applicant to have some experience in either retail or back office/admin duties at the minimum.
A great fit for this position is someone who is looking to expand knowledge and experience from solely back office into more retail duties and working directly with customers.
85% of duties are at the front retail portion, working cash register, cutting basic keys, taking in jobs and scheduling jobs for locksmith, maintaining key inventory and ordering other supplies and good customer relations.
15% of duties are in the back office, entering the daily sale summary from the point of sale (register), invoices for mobile jobs, receiving payments for invoices In QuickBooks Online, answering emails and phone calls, and making job appointments.
This is a great blended retail and back office position. no boredom here.
Duties include
Working directly with customers at store front.
Cutting Keys
Maintaining inventory and re-ordering
Answering phones and setting appointments for locksmith and entering into Outlook
Maintaining store cleanliness
Retail work will be overseen by Owner (Lock Smith)
Light back office duties (about an hour, to 1 ½ hours daily) to include,
Communicating via email to vendors and customers - excellent English skills a must.
working in QuickBooks Online entering customer invoices and daily summary from point of sale – more responsibilities using QBO as applicant experience and comfortability increase.
This storefront can get busy, multitasking is an important skillset. Applicant must be able to work between the hours of 8 am-5 pm. Starting hourly wage $19/hr increases determined on experience, and performance.
