Sales Associate

Reports to: Sr. Director of Sales

Status: Full time/Exempt

Location: In-Office (Louisville, CO)

Position Overview:

The Sales Associate is a critical, high-impact role that is foundational to Eldorado’s sales process. The Sales Associate serves as the first point of contact for all inbound leads, including phone inquiries, emails, and website submissions. This role supports operations by fulfilling online orders, managing the CRM database, and performing essential customer service functions. Additionally, the Sales Associate will support B2B and B2C clients through selling Eldorado’s DIY climbing solutions. This role provides an excellent opportunity for high performers to transition into a Sales Manager position in the future.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales

First point of contact for leads generated online, incoming sales, and customer service phone calls.

Manages incoming leads through to completion with timely and professional customer communications.

Tracks and follows up on all leads and customer communications through CRM system.

Manages the sales of Eldorado’s DIY and third-party equipment.

Manages DIY reseller platforms (Amazon, Etsy, etc.)

Identifies new sales opportunities through networking, prospecting, and attending tradeshows.

Develops relationships with prospects, clients, vendors, distributors, architects and general contractors.

Uses consultative selling techniques to identify client needs and presents product options to close sales.

Creates and delivers sales presentations to prospective clients.

Provides general administrative support including providing project proposals, product samples, and collateral.

Prepares and delivers sales reports.

Customer Service

Coordinates custom project internal handoff meetings to ensure seamless transitions from sales to project management.

Follows up with client during production, installation, and post-construction phases.

Assists clients in resolving any customer service issues that arise.

Other

Attend trade shows and industry events.

Perform other tasks as determined by Sr. Director of Sales.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Must reside within a commutable distance of Louisville, CO or be willing to relocate by end of January 2026

Bachelor’s degree or greater, preferably in Business.

3+ years in customer service and sales with proven success in (B2B) and (B2C) environments.

CRM experience required.

Understanding and effective use of relationship building and consultative selling techniques.

Strong work ethic and leadership skills. Must be driven, hardworking and a team player.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.

Superior verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to diverse audiences.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Teams.

Ability to travel up to 10%.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Climbing industry knowledge and experience

Construction knowledge

Experience with Shopify

Experience with web based graphic design/document automation platforms (Pandadoc, Proposify, Canva, etc.)

SketchUp experience
