A high-end audio design and manufacturing company in Boulder is looking for a full-time, on site, Assistant Electronic Engineer. The primary responsibilities are to perform electrical engineering functions under supervision, and along with the following essential functions:
Original schematic and PCB design for test apparatus and smaller projects
Design, build and debug test fixtures
Procedure documentation, engineering development and troubleshooting experiments
Customer and internal interactions to solve technical, manufacturing and quality problems
Create and maintain a Bills of Materials (BOMs) for products and assemblies
Support of engineering issues with manufacturing partners
Create and maintain assembly documentation and modification instructions
Serve as a technical resource for Engineering Technicians, manufacturing and Customer Service
Critical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Electronics theory
Practical experience designing and debugging electronic circuits
Computer based Schematic and Layout generation (Altium)
Ability to operate an oscilloscope
Soldering and hands-on construction
Ability to keep track of multiple projects at the same time
Ability to physically move, disassemble, reassemble products
Experience requirements
Knowledge of the high-end audio industry, preferred
BSEE degree in Electronics or an equivalent working experience
