As you embark on the search for your next career move, you've likely scrolled through countless job descriptions. But this one? This one is different. Consider this your invitation to join a thrilling adventure—a quest where your skills will be the key to unlocking the future of healthcare. Like Frodo, Luke, or Harry, you're being called upon to embark on a journey filled with innovation, challenge, and discovery. Are you ready to take the leap?

Before accepting your quest, first, ensure you are prepared for the journey.

Who Should NOT Apply to this Job

Boulder Longevity Institute (BLI) is a very unique entity, looking for a very specific type of person to join our team and become part of our BLI Family. We have found that these people are extremely difficult to find and a lot of time is wasted by both the applicants and by BLI in filtering through applicants that are just not a good fit. For that reason, we now start our job posting with a list of characteristics of people that should NOT apply as a way to hopefully save everyone from wasting a lot of time and effort. You should NOT apply for this job if:

You do not like to laugh and can not laugh at yourself.

You are not into learning the coolest and newest science about longevity and staying healthy and optimized.

You are not into using tech to make a difference - to really help people, to create more time for staff to help and connect with people, to create innovative ways for people to get complex information, and yes, to change people's lives (corny, but that is truly what we do here).

You are not bright and quick on the uptake - this stuff can get involved, we are pushing the envelope here - if you don’t catch on quickly, it can be tedious and not fun. We want our team members to have fun.

You aren’t willing to do some grunt work - this is cool stuff, but sometimes you need to fix something quickly, be it an integration or an existing tool, and will have to simply figure it out.

You do not like to see your tech used every day by real people, right before your eyes.

You are just looking for a job, not a career or a long-term future with the company. Technical innovation is central to our ethos. We will constantly be pushing the limits (or sometimes just solving simple problems), but it will always be from a tech-forward perspective, plus we have big plans and big growth. That means the opportunities to create, innovate, and grow are massive.

If you think the current healthcare system has its issues, but overall works fine, and that generally, people are pretty darn healthy - don’t apply.

Please do not take any of the above the wrong way - we are trying to change the future of healthcare and we need the right people in the right seats on the bus to achieve this - after almost eighteen years in business we have a pretty good idea who those people are, so please do not take offense. If after going through the above you are still interested and think you are a fit, please read on and please consider applying.

About Us:

Boulder Longevity Institute (BLI) stands at the forefront of cutting-edge cellular medicine and personalized health optimization. Here at BLI, we're not just following the traditional path of healthcare; we're forging a new one. With a commitment to leveraging the latest in diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, we’re on a mission to enhance longevity and overall wellness in ways previously thought impossible. Our direct-pay clinical practice allows us the freedom to innovate continually, unbound by the limitations of outdated medical systems. We're not just keeping up with the future of healthcare—we're creating it.

Position Overview:

We're seeking a passionate and fearless Technical Solutions Lead to join our team—someone who shares our vision of transforming healthcare from the ground up. This role isn’t just a job; it’s a mission. You’ll be the architect of groundbreaking technical solutions, the champion of innovation, and the driving force behind projects that will redefine what's possible in healthcare. This is no small task, and it’s certainly not for the faint-hearted. But for those who thrive on challenge, the rewards are limitless.

Required Skills:

Our CEO, who has a deep technical background, once said, “I’d want this job if I didn’t have all these other jobs…” And that’s because this role is truly special. As the Technical Solutions Lead, you’ll breathe life into projects that address some of the biggest challenges facing our team, clients, and partners. From prescription tracking to data aggregation to AI support tools and more, you’ll take the reins on critical projects, driving them to completion and making them even better. You’ll need to be a technologist at heart, with the project management skills to match. And above all, you’ll need to be someone who’s ready to dive into the weeds but can still zoom out to see the entire landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Implementation:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to dream up and bring to life technical solutions that will push the boundaries of clinical operations and research. You’ll lead the charge in integrating systems that enhance efficiency, data management, and client experience.

Technical Leadership:

You’ll be the go-to person for all things technical, providing guidance and mentorship to your team. You’ll keep your finger on the pulse of emerging technologies, ensuring BLI stays ahead of the curve.

Project Management:

Take the helm on planning, executing, and delivering technical projects. You’ll navigate the complexities of project requirements, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring everything is completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with clinical staff, researchers, and external partners to translate their needs into cutting-edge technical solutions. You’ll be the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring everyone is on the same page.

Data & Security Management:

Safeguard our most valuable asset—data. You’ll ensure all technical solutions comply with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, implementing best practices for data integrity, security, and accessibility.

Qualifications:

Required:

A proven track record of designing and implementing technical solutions that drive business value or improve user experience.

Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives at once.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges head-on.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams.

A strong understanding of data management practices, data integrity, and security requirements.

A passion for innovation and a keen interest in the longevity and cellular medicine sectors.

Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends with experience or interest specific to healthcare and longevity medicine.

Ability to travel to the Boulder-based office at least once per quarter or more if needed. This position is primarily remote but requires you to be in-person on occasion.

Preferred:

A deep knowledge of technology with at least 3 years of experience in a technical role.

A Bachelor’s or similar technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience within the healthcare or biotech sectors, with familiarity with healthcare IT systems and security.

Experience working with providers, clinical staff and researchers.

What We Offer:

A competitive wage and benefits package.

The opportunity to work at the cutting edge of healthcare and longevity medicine.

A collaborative and dynamic work environment.

Professional growth and development opportunities in a rapidly expanding field.
