Aerotek is currently looking to hire a Manual Machinist for a great Aerospace company in Westminster, Colorado! This position is a long term contract opportunity with the potential of being brought on as a direct employee. Job Description:Will be working on a Manual LatheSetup and operate engine lathes for turning, facing, drilling, boring and thread cutting to precisionReview and interpret electronic build documents for machining requirements.Primary responsibilities include turning work on high end parts,swapping parts out and part handling while understanding the high value of the specific part/material.Will be completing quality inspection on parts using various hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc.Day Shift: 6am-2:30pmQualifications:4 + years experience working in a machine shop/manufacturing environmentPrevious CNC experiencePrevious experience with a manual lathePrevious experience performing quality inspection on partsPrevious experience working in an Aerospace, Medical, or other highly regulated environment a PLUSSound like something you may be interested in?
