We are looking for a skilled, hardworking remodeling carpenter to join our busy remodeling company in the Boulder and Denver Metro-area. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with with interior construction, be able to independently execute tasks with limited oversight, be detail oriented,be capable of leading less experienced team members, and care about the quality and timeliness of their work.
Required skills include:
- Basic plumbing (installing faucets, shower trim kits, p-traps, W/D hookups, garbage disposals, etc.)
- Basic electrical (installing light fixtures, switches, smoke detectors, etc.)
- Finish carpentry (measuring and cutting trim and door casings, etc)
- Framing
- Demo
- Cabinet hanging
- Appliance Installation
- Finish Drywall
- Door installation
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualities:
- Own and have proficiency using various hand tools (drill, impact driver, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Ability to reviewplans and scope with a supervisor and then execute the work independently
- Project evaluation skills to ensure necessary materials for job completion are purchased
- Accurate timeline for completion estimating
- Ability to work collaboratively with others
- Strong problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Additional requirements:
- Must submit to a criminal background check
- Must be legal to work in the US
- Must possess valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and be willing to drive between project sites
- Must have a smart phone for time tracking in our software
