We are looking for a reliable handyman to assist with our daily operations. We do everything from small repair jobs to remodel projects, and we are seeking someone who is responsible, dedicated, and up for the challenge of tackling whatever tasks we have on any given day.
Depending on the size of the job, there will be many days in which you will be working on your own, traveling to one or more properties to address various repairs; and on any number of other days you will be working alongside one or more additional people on jobs that require multiple people.
Our typical jobs include rough and finish carpentry, tiling, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting, among other things. We will work with your skillset to ensure that you aren’t asked to do anything that you are totally uncomfortable with, but we will also do everything we can to help you to learn and grow in those areas.
You will be expected to visit new jobs, assess the issue at hand, and devise a strategy for repairing the issue. This position requires a lot of creative thinking and troubleshooting skills.
You must have a valid driver's license.
You must agree to do a background check.
You must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis, and 100 lbs on occasion. This position requires the ability to sit, stand, talk and communicate, operate power tools, hand tools, and machinery.
You must be well spoken and present yourself in a professional manner.
Starting salary is $28-$32/hour, depending on experience. If your skillset is especially exemplary, then we can discuss this further.
