We are a custom metal fabrication shop which specializes in engineering and designing creative, aesthetic mixed media projects with a focus on steel. We have an opening for a mid to upper-level metal fabricator/builder to assist with in-shop and on-site fabrication and construction.
Skills that are required for the position: Attention to detail and personal accountability, all welding processes, prior custom metal fabrication (not just pipe welding), a positive attitude and work ethic is required with the ability to be flexible to process and design changes.
Other skills that are used on a daily basis but no required: ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical prints, general construction and building knowledge/experience, computer skills, artistic design, machining experience. All projects require a high level of finish detailing not just welding.
The job will entail custom fabrication, precise measuring, cutting, onsite install. We are a custom shop so every project is different and you will need to be able to learn and adapt to each build accordingly.

Position: Mid to Upper-level Metal Fabrication
Working Hours: 8am-5pm, M-F
Compensation: $22-30/hr depending on ability/skills/experience
Required to pass a drug test.
