Green Ride is operating a Ned REC Shuttle in Nederland this winter.
This job is weekends and thebusy holiday week-long breaks throughout the snow season of December thru April. It is approximately 50 days/shifts.
We have two driving routes to offer
Route 1 consists of driving Eldora Mountain employees from satellite parking areas in the town of Nederland to and from the Eldora lift area. There are 4 driving positions for this circulator. You are driving a14 passenger shuttle. It does not require any special driving license. Experience in driving these type of vehicles is preferred. A shift is about 8 hours
Route 2 requires a commercial driver’s license - Class C or higher, with a passenger endorsement.
This is a single run, employee shuttle, from Bulder to Eldora mountain, in a 29-passenger bus, (it could be 2 runs, but no promises). It leaves Boulder on Saturdays and Sundays at 6:00am-most likely a 3.5 hour shift.
The elephant in the room is road conditions in inclement weather. Our 29 passenger shuttles have auto chains. Our 14 passenger shuttles have the best snow tires money can buy, and they carry quick chains and full chains.
The road to Eldora is one of the best maintained roads in the state. Boulder County plows ‘live’ on the road when necessary, and Eldora adds their team of plows and gravel when necessary. Remember, it is not just for you that they need to keep the road safe, it’s also the 1000 cars that are also using the road for a day skiing and riding.
We are looking for drivers who are familiar with Colorado snow season and have a few winter seasons of driving under their belts.
Pay is $30 per hour.
We plan on opening the service in the first week of December but would like to get a solid crew in place for training well before that.

Fine Print: For driving jobs, you must be 23 years of age. Drivers require a pre-employment drug screen. Drivers must agree to a background check, provide a current Motor Vehicle Report ($10) to prove a good driving record, PUC Fingerprint background check $55) and if you don't already have, get a DOT medical card (approx $85)
