Applications will be accepted up to 90 days after the posting date, or until the position is filled (whichever is first).Job Summary:Retail Technology is looking for a curious and dynamic Business Analyst to join Vail Resorts' rapidly growing Retail Applications Group. As a partner to the Retail, Rental, Operations departments within the organization, this individual will help support the technology at each of the 250 retail locations, focused on a core suite of Retail Applications including ERP (inventory, distribution, buying, etc.), reporting and point-of-sale functionality. Working cross-functionally with Merchandising, Operations, Warehousing, Accounting, and other areas of IT, this person is a key contributor supporting production system health and delivering key IT enhancements.The ideal candidate for this role is excited to help a team improve, develop, and implement SDLC (Software DevLife Cycle) and customer service best practices in a uniquely complex environment. They will be comfortable moving between the technical analyst, business analyst and quality assurance spaces, as this role requires flexibility between each of those disciplines. This position brings value to the organization through thought leadership, technical acumen, process design, business partnership, and collaboration with our 3rd party development partners. Expected Pay Range: The budgeted range starts at $89,100.00 - $105,000.00 + annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Responsibilities:Production Management

Assessseverity/priority ofproductionissues,determinebusinessimpact,andcommunicateprogress during resolutionwithhighproficiency.

RemediateissueticketsfollowingITILpracticesacrossretailsystems,serverintegrationpoints, access provisioning and more.

Responsible for proactive production monitoring and dashboard development

Executes,optimizesandensuresallSOX(SarbanesOxley),PCI(PaymentCardIndustry)andDSR(DataSubject Request)tasksarecompletedthoroughlywithahighattentiontodetail.

Subject Matter Expert and Process Owner technically supporting multiple business and IT groups.

High technical aptitude using SQL, data monitoring and job management tools to troubleshoot complex issues.

Enhancement Delivery

Identifyanddeliverkeysystemenhancementstoimprovesystemstabilityandbusinessfunctions.

EnsureallenhancementworkfollowstheSDLCprocess,meetsSOX(SarbanesOxley)andPCI(PaymentCard Industry)requirements,andmaintainallrequired compliancedocumentation.

ProficientinQA(QualityAssurance)LifeCyclebydevelopingtestplansandtestscripts,documenting test results, and reportingonresults whilecoordinatingusage of testenvironments.

Peerreviewerforrequirementsandtestplandocumentationforbugandenhancementworkaligningto SDLC practices.

Stakeholder Management

Buildstrong relationships with third-party vendors,ITpartners, andbusiness stakeholders to proactively support our production environment and deliver on enhancement tasks.

Facilitateandownbusinessstakeholder'sbacklogmanagementforenhancementsfollowingSDLCpractices.

5+yearsofdemonstratedITbusinessanalysisorproductionsupportexperiencefollowingITILpractices.

Abilitytoremediatetechnicalissuesthoroughlywithqualitycustomersupportandclearcommunication

AbilitytodeliversystemenhancementsusingSDLCmethodologieswhileleadingthroughrequirements,design, and testing process

MS Development Technologies, including PowerShell, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS

Priorapplicationownershipexperience(Ex:AptosPOS,Sales Audit, CRM, Loss Prevention,MMS,Oracle Retail, Manhattan Associates, SAP, Silvon, IT connect, ServiceNow)

StrongSQLandsystemdiagramingskills

Effectivecommunication&interpersonalskills;comfortablespeakingwithandtranslatingbetweentechnical and non-technical team members at all levels of the organization
