The Physical Security Specialist will provide specialized security knowledge with an emphasis in industrial and physical security standards for our customers. The selected candidate will assist in planning and managing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) accreditations and oversight operations. This position will support accreditations throughout the lifecycle of the program(s). Are you ready to help us make the future?YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
Providing subject matter expertise on physical security with an emphasis on sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIFs), compartmented areas, and collateral area construction
Overseeing the SCIF, compartmented area, and collateral area lifecycle from concept to completion, planning and construction, and mission conclusion
Managing the accreditation, re-accreditation, and de-accreditation process
Preparing and reviewing Fixed Facility Checklists and other documentation supporting SCIF accreditations
Provide security recommendations and guidance for new facilities and renovations
Perform site security surveys to determine if facilities meet requirements for SCIF accreditation
Travel up to 25%
YOU MUST HAVE:
U.S. Citizenship/Active Top-Secret Clearance with Polygraph
Minimum 6 years of experience in industrial security programs, and in-depth knowledge and demonstrated experience working SCIF accreditation projects
WE VALUE:
Strong understanding of ICD 705 and SCIF accreditation processes and requirements
Formal ICD 705 Training
Industrial Security Professional Certifications
General building construction expertise to include knowledge of electrical wiring, building methods, HVAC systems, and blueprint in order to implement ICD 705 requirements
Excellent organizational skills, ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all stakeholders and the ability to work independently and take a proactive role
